Blog 5- Daily Life

I am finally catching up on getting the blog posts written! I apologize for the very long delay between them all. You will be happy to hear that I have lots to share, though!

Week 5 kicked off with a wonderful Valentine's Day. In the morning, my flatmates and I enjoyed a quiet morning and I made some delicious cinnamon scones.

Michael, my boyfriend, and I enjoyed a nice chat over Skype and we each cooked a lovely dinner to enjoy the day.

The middle of the week brought some beautiful sunshine and a great opportunity to hang out with Silvia and Yana.

On Thursday, I went with my biology class on a field trip to a local wooded area for some field experience in identifying the local plant life. This was the reason I signed up for the British Habitats module. The class takes trips to local regions, but I also am able to explore a greater part of Wales.
Sporting my new gear for our adventures into the woods.
Summer and I as we head out to the woodlands.

At the end of the week, a few friends and I saw the Deadpool movie and had a blast. It was quite funny and a great way to spend an evening out. The movie theater we went to was quite unique. It was family owned and it looked more like a musical theater than a movie theater. The movie was projected onto a screen that was on the large stage. After the opening previews, a little window opened up at the front of the room so people could buy more popcorn or snacks. I have never seen an intermission at a movie before, especially an intermission towards the beginning of a production. It was quite different!

Good-bye until the next update!
