Blog 8- Cardiff and Week 8

Saturday of Week 7 was to the beautiful city of Cardiff. If you did not catch my previous blog, Week 7 began with a beautiful hike to Snowdon Mountain, but I did so much in this week, that it warranted a second post!

The journey down to Cardiff:

All in all, we had such a wonderful time in Cardiff. It was much bigger than Aberystwyth and there was lots going on.

Leading into Week 8:

Week 8 was pretty quiet after the action packed week before. I had to buckle down and keep working hard.

Pumpernickel Bread!

After the random snow during the prior week, the sun came back out and made for a beautiful photo while I was sitting in class.

Although March 6th through 12th brought little to report, you can be sure that I still enjoyed it immensely. 

Blog 7- Snowdon!

Week 7 started with probably the greatest hike of my life! Mount Snowdon. Rather than writing much about it, I will let the photos do all of the talking.

The end of the hike:

The hike was on Sunday, just the very start of the week!

I needed lots of extra protein after that hike and made a really delicious lentil soup for the week.

Warm soup was nice because Aberystwyth got a dusting of snow that had melted off by lunch time. Beautiful while it lasted!

The week ended with a trip to Cardiff, Wales! Due to the number of photos I took on that trip and how long this post is, it will get a post of its own. Stay tuned for when I upload that one!
